 OWNER CANNOT TAKE SUNDAY ARRIVALS. Probably the best preserved building of its type remaining in England, The Yeoman's House, listed Grade II, is a stunning example of a medieval hall house. Set in about an acre of garden, the present owners have lavished much care and attention on refurbishing the spacious accommodation and have hit on a great balance between preserving the original features and the addition of more contemporary details. You'll be delighted at the fine timberwork, vaulted ceilings upstairs and some charmingly uneven floors. The huge chimney breast in the double bedroom is particularly spectacular. In contrast, the kitchen is completely up-to-date with striking red worktops and stainless steel units with all the modern appliances you'd expect.We think you'll be impressed by the garden which has been beautifully designed by the owner. There are an abundance of flowers and shrubs, giving interest all year round. The only choice you'll have to make is whether you sit out on the paved terrace or under a shady tree, both lovely for al fresco dining on a warm summer's day. This really is an exceptional place to spend some time getting away from it all. The owners have a small two storey cottage within the grounds, located behind a tall Yew Hedge in its own very separate garden. The owners may be in residence on occasion but are out of sight and will be discreet.

Central heating. Electric 'range' cooker, two dishwashers, washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer. TV, WIFI. Travel cot. Off road parking. Large garden with flagstone terrace and extensive lawned areas bordered by mature, yew hedging, separate orchard and further very large play area for children. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: £100 refundable good housekeeping bond payable on booking. Note: One steep carpeted staircase takes you up to the main bedroom. At the other end of the property is another un-carpeted staircase leading to the twin room. OWNER IS VERY FLEXIBLE ON THE CHANGEOVER DAY, BUT CANNOT TAKE SUNDAY ARRIVALS.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
