A quality romantic retreat, this stone built cottage in the Peak District sleeps two people in its lovely double master bedroom. This attractive stone-built cottage a mile from the town of Stocksbridge makes a great getaway for a couple looking to enjoy the walks and trails of this northern part of the Peaks. There are some views over the valley and moors from the cottage, which has a master bedroom with king-size double bed and en-suite bathroom. Downstairs, there is a fitted kitchen, and a sitting room with large sash windows and a cosy woodburner-effect stove. Outside, the cottage benefits from off road parking and a garden with furniture.

Gas central heating with electric fire in sitting room. Electric cooker with gas hob, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD, small library of books/games/DVDs, free WiFi connection. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Garden with patio and furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
