The Shieling is a homely cottage resting on the outskirts of Newtonmore in the Cairngorms National Park, Scottish Highland and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. The living area in the property is an open-plan living space with a kitchen equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice box and dishwasher, a dining area, and a sitting area with a TV and electric fire. There is also a communal, on-site laundry room containing a coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside, there is a shared garden with patio and furniture, and off-road parking for two cars. Within 0.1 miles, you will find a shop, and within 0.2, a pub. Please note that this is a pet-free and non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. A travel cot is available on request, however guests must bring their own bedding. The Shieling is an ideal base for a family or group of six's holiday in the Cairngorms National Park. Note: The coin-operated washing machine is operated with new pound coins and a wash costs £4. Note: Guests must provide their own bedding for the travel cot. Note: Property is not suitable for people with mobility issues. Note: A small fuel starter pack is provided. Note: The central heating is operated in the morning and early evening; this can be adjusted to your needs on request.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
