There is a high degree of privacy, the owners do live onsite and a studio barn unit is located across the orchard. The property is rural and approached via narrow country roads and a 750m stone surfaced track. It may be an unsuitable access for abnormally low clearance cars. Mobile phone signal and Sat Nav are patchy in the area. Most phones can connect to WiFi calling whilst at the property. Shops, pubs and good village amenities in Thornton le Dale 12 miles Pickering market town with North York Moors Heritage Railway 15 miles Dalby forest with cycle and walking trails 1 mile, within the forest is Go Ape high rope adventure centre, bike hire, a visitor centre, cafes, play areas and seasonal activity centre with paintball and archery. Coast and beaches 13 miles away Scarborough, Whitby, North York Moors, York within easy day travel distance

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
