Thornfield in Windmill, County Durham sleeps six guests in three bedrooms. Thornfield is a single-storey cottage, consists of a kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, kettle, and microwave, a dining room with dining seating for six, and a sitting room with TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of two doubles and a twin. There is a bathroom with bath, walk-in shower, basin, and WC, and a cloakroom with basin and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed front garden with patio, gravelled area, and furniture, and private driveway parking for three cars. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Guests can find a shop in 2.4 miles and a pub in 2.6 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Thornfield is a wonderful escape to County Durham, whatever time of year. Note: Please contact us or the property owner in advance of your stay if you would like the wood-fired hot tub to be lit for your arrival.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
