There is so much to see and do in the area from beaches to mountains and all sorts in between! There's a large lawned area overlooking the picturesque Italianate village of Portmeirion and the sandy estuary, perfect for relaxing on after a day full of adventure. A gentle stroll will take you to the train station where you can travel on the Cambrian Coast Railway that has stops that are well worth a visit. Llandanwg with its lovely beach and cafe and Llanbedr where you can have a pie and a pint in the lovely Victoria Inn are two firm favourites. Or why not hop on a Highland Railway steam train for a scenic and memorable way to experience the surrounding areas? You can also easily access the Ardudwy Way and walk all or part of this scenic upland pathway to Barmouth and there is also the gentler but equally scenic coastal footpath. You will not fail to be captivated by the area from Harlech Castle to the Rhinog Mountains, ancient woodlands to tumbling waterfalls - it's just magic and Little House the perfect place to come home to! There are plenty of opportunities for great days out nearby, including Zip World - with its 100mph zip wire experience and Bounce Below, an underground cave full of giant trampolines! More than two? No problem. The nearby Big House will accommodate up to 7 people.

Shop and pub 1 mile. Two well behaved dogs welcome. Front and rear enclosed gravel patio areas with seating and access to surrounding field (sheep may be present certain months of the year) Note: the stairs to the bathroom are open tread. Note :This cottage is not suitable for infants.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
