This cosy cottage with a double bedroom is located in the market town of Alston and offers the ideal spot for a romantic getaway. This 400 year old terraced cottage is a stone construction, just a short walk from the centre of Alston - the highest market town in England and the centre of five historic Pennine routes. The cottage itself is traditional and welcoming, boasting exposed beams, an inglenook fireplace and a wood-burning effect gas stove - ideal for a cosy, romantic break. In addition to the double bedroom, the cottage offers a fitted kitchen and sitting room. Please note that the Gas fire is not in use for bookings during June, July and August.
Gas central heating with gas fire in sitting room. Electric oven & hob, microwave, fridge, TV with Freeview, DVD, radio/CD, WIFI, Fuel & power inc. in rent. Bed linen inc. in rent. Roadside parking. Lawned garden to rear of property (not enclosed). One well-behaved dog welcome at £10. Sorry, no smoking. Shops & pubs 3 mins walk. Note : Short breaks preferred during winter. Please note that the Gas fire is not in use for bookings during June, July and August.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
