This lovely 17th century Lakeland cottage has beams, wi-fi and is pet friendly located in the village of Lorton near Keswick in the Lake District National Park and can sleep six people in three bedrooms.  Scales Cottage is a lovely renovated Lakeland Cottage in the village of Lorton, near Keswick in the Lake District National Park. The cottage can sleep six people in three bedrooms; two king-size doubles and one double. There is a family bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. A large sociable kitchen with dining area and wood burning stove and a comfortable sitting room. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking and a lovely patio garden. Scales Cottage is a lovely cottage in a fabulous part of the Lake District.

Note: The double bedroom has a sloping ceiling and is only suitable for children. Note: Guests may fish free of charge on the pond located 200 yards from the cottage and stocked with rainbow trout. Note: Pond on site, children to be supervised.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
