Welsh Newton is a tiny hamlet located near to Monnow and the breathtaking Wye Valleys. Built in the 1600's this welcoming property is built from stone and has been converted from a working barn into a pretty holiday cottage. The house has been painstakingly refurbished to create comfortable, cosy country accommodation. There are 2 bedrooms one of which is a double and the other is a twin bedroom. Both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. There's a large open plan living space that is comprised of an equipped kitchen, breakfast area and airy sitting room. Oak beams are spread throughout the property to give it a cottage feel.
Central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge (with an ice box), additional freezer available upon request. washing machine, 2 x TVs, video, DVD, stereo/CD, WiFi. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Stairgate. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lawned garden with furniture. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 3 miles. Note: Owner offers a free fly fishing lesson. Note: WiFi may be intermittent due to location.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
