The Nook originally started off being called Iona when it was built in the late 17th century with 'The Nook being added on at a later date, then being three separate properties. During the early 1900's the central cottage was being run as a sweet shop, to this day the original shop window can still be seen. The Nook is located in the village of Cavendish, boasting a beautiful village green, walks by the Stour Valley, and two wonderful eateries. Located just 4.6 miles from the wonderful quintessential English Village of Long Melford and 8 miles from England's best preserved medieval town of Lavenham. On the ground floor is a large open plan kitchen/dining room, sitting room, garden room, bedroom and shower room. On the first floor are two bedrooms and additional shower room. Outside is an ample size garden with seating area.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
