Further amenities 7 minute drive away. This delightful, traditional Welsh cottage, in the south east corner of Anglesey, stands in its own enclosed garden and has fantastic, peaceful views over fields towards the Menai Straits and the mountains. Ty Hir holiday cottage is situated on a quiet lane which has easy access to plenty of foot paths and cycling routes nearby. The village of Llangoed, which has it's own shop and post office, is a 5-minute walk away. A short drive away is Beaumaris, which is full of interesting places to visit. It has a splendid castle with swans on the moat, a gaol and a great variety of tempting shops, galleries as well as some of the best eating places on Anglesey. You can even walk to Lleiniog beach in approximately 20-30 minutes - the beach has free parking and no dog restrictions.
