Hostingon the first floor two twin bedrooms, along with a bathroom on the ground floor, this property can sleep up to four guests. There is also a kitchen and a living/dining room with a woodburning stove. Outside there is parking beside the property and access to the castle grounds. North Mains Cottage makes a perfect base for a holiday to Scotland with friends.

Shop & pub 5.3 miles. Note: There is no WiFi at this property and mobile phone reception can be poor. Note: There is a steep path leading to the entrance of the cottage, Internally there is a staircase to the first floor. Note: Dogs are not allowed on beds or any of the furniture, you may like to bring an old towel to wipe muddy paws. Note: Fuel for the wood-burning stove is not provided, logs and coal are available locally at petrol stations and shops, we kindly ask that you do not collect wood from the estate. Note: The beds in the twin room cannot be made into one large bed, please consider this when booking. Note: If the Accommodation becomes inaccessible due to bad weather the National Trust for Scotland will take all reasonable steps to inform you and to offer an alternative National Trust for Scotland property. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
