Martello Beach

Martello Beach can be found right outside Martello Beach Holiday Park where you will find 7 miles of Golden sand with 5 star water quality.

Martello Beach is named after a small defensive fort known as a 'Martello Tower', which dates back to the nineteenth century. Plenty of facilities including beach huts and a campsite. Popular clifftop gardens overlooking the beach.

Torrington Tide Mill

For the Historian, why not take a trip to Torrington Tide Mill.

Located alongside a picturesque waterside, Torrington Tide Mill is a Grade II listed building and is enjoyed by walkers and mill enthusiasts alike. Once powered by outgoing tidal water, it is one of the few remaining tide mills in the UK. There is a small car park nearby (available only on mill open days) and you can see the mill as part of several interesting walks in the local area.

Clacton Air Show

With many Air Shows being cancelled throughout the UK during 2016, Clacton Air Show is a "must see".  Amazing stunts, lots of information and an amazing atmosphere. Not just the air show but lots of exhibitors, refreshments for a thoroughly enjoyable day.

Visit Colchester

Whilst holidaying at Martello Beach Holiday Park, why not plan a visit to the nearby historic town of Colchester?

Colchester is Britain's oldest recorded town with a history dating back more than 2000 years. However, Colchester is now a thriving, modern town with lots of attactions, including Colchester Zoo, Colchester Castle and plenty of places offering a vast array of refreshments.
