Blackpool is a highly popular resort in Lancashire, on England's North West coast. The town is on the Irish Sea, North West of Preston, Bolton and Manchester and North of Liverpool.
Blackpool became a major centre of tourism in England, when a railway was built in the 1840s which connected it to the industrialised regions of Northern England. By the early 1880's, Blackpool was a booming tourist resort, complete with piers, fortune-tellers, public houses, trams, donkey rides, fish-and-chip shops and theatres.
Blackpool Tower was opened to the public on 14 May 1894, inspired by the Eiffel Tower in Paris: it is 518 feet tall and is the 103rd tallest free-standing tower in the world.

Bispham:
This is a long beach, with a split-level promenade and sand at low tide. It is very close to Blackpool town centre, but is a much quieter area!
Bispham is a dog-friendly beach all year around.
Blackpool North:
This is a sandy beach, with plenty of facilities, including cafes, restaurants, shops, deck-chair hire, a promenade and a life-guard service.
Dogs are not permitted on the Blackpool North beach.
Blackpool Central:
A full seven miles of sand and is home to three large piers, in addition to the infamous 500ft tall Blackpool Tower. This is the main Blackpool beach and lies between the south and central piers, backed by a promenade. This is also where the Blackpool trams operate.
Dogs are not permitted on the Blackpool Central beach.
Blackpool South:
This is a sandy beach, with plenty of facilities including cafes, restaurants, shops, deck-chair hire, a promenade and a life-guard service.
Dogs are not permitted on the Blackpool South beach.
Cleveleys:
This beach is just 4 miles north of Blackpool town centre, in the town of Cleveleys. The beach front here is a huge expanse of sea and sand, backed by a promenade and the Jubilee Gardens all of which have recently been renovated.
Cleveleys does not allow dogs between May-September.
Fleetwood:
About 9 miles away from the Blackpool town centre is Fleetwood beach, which sits at the top end of the Fylde coastline, facing north into Morecambe Bay. The beach is mainly sandy with a small amount of shingle and gently slopes down to the sea with a slight drop off to the water at high tide.
Dogs are not permitted on Fleetwood beach between June 1st and August 31st.
St Annes:
St Annes is a much quieter beach resort, less than five miles away from Blackpool town Centre, located between the mud flats of the Ribble Estuary and the Blackpool town itself. The beach boasts a huge expanse of golden sand, but swimming isn't recommended and there is no lifeguard service. Behind the beach is a large grassy area featuring attractive gardens, a boating lake and Lytham's iconic green windmill.
St Annes does not allow dogs on the beach between May-September.

Balmoral:

Tiggs:
A 3-bed, 8 berth, static caravan sited at Marton Mere Holiday Park, with heating in all of the bedrooms and shower room and a cosy gas fire in the lounge, there is a WC in the shower room plus a separate WC.
